Hey there!

My name is Ivelina Petkova and photography is the biggest part of me. I suppose I inherited it from my father, Gencho Petkov. When I was little he used to take me and my brother out to shoot with him. Not on the important projects he had of course, we were kids after all. The feeling I had when we were in the middle of the street with the camera and the tripod and him explaining to us exactly what settings we need to make a good night photograph, that insane precision made me want to be as good as him one day.

I wanted to be able to just know the exact settings for the shot to come out from the camera the way I saw it in my mind.

In the past three years I have been improving my photography skills, learning all of the basics, from scratch. I belive that if you are willing to put in the work, anything is possible. And I am doing my best to get better and better at this gorgeous form of art, hoping that one day I will be standing in the middle of the street, explaining to my kids exactly what settings they need to make the shot and the endless possibilities of photography.
